Together for an inclusive future

We believe that everyone should have the right to access sport, art and culture - regardless of social background, residence status or living conditions. That's why we created CULTURE FOR ALL: a solidarity fund that specifically supports people who would otherwise not be able to afford to take part in our projects.

What we do

CULTURE FOR ALL is funded through various initiatives specifically aimed at supporting people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, refugees, single parents, artists and low-income families. Here are some of our activities:

• Door collection: At events such as the final show of the Summer Dance Camp, we collect donations that go directly into the CULTURE FOR ALL fund.

• Sale of camp shirts: 8 francs of every camp shirt sold will go into our fund.

• Sliding scale principle: We rely on the sliding scale principle, in which financially stronger participants support the financially weaker ones.

• Partnerships with foundations and private sponsors: By working closely with foundations and private supporters, we try to keep our fund active and reach even more people.

  
  

What actually happens

As part of the Summer Dance Camp, we try to offer 10-15 free places to refugee children. In all other formats throughout the year, we also try to make 15-20% of the places available free of charge to people with a refugee background.

For people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, single parents, artists and low-income families, we offer reduced participation fees via so-called support tickets. The prerequisite for this is a valid KulturLegi. In this way, we want to enable access to our offers for those who would otherwise be excluded.

That is a high standard - but we are working hard to make it a reality.

INTEGRATION PROJECT

The children are ready. We are ready.

This summer we have a dream: to give 10-15 refugee children currently living in Switzerland a free week full of dance, connection and pure joie de vivre. A week in which they can simply be children - laugh, move and make new friends in the open air.

But we can't do it alone. This integration project has not received any institutional support - no direct or indirect financial support from the canton, municipalities or foundations. And yet we are not giving up - because we know how important integration is.

Integration is more than politics - it's about people. It means shared spaces in which differences become secondary.
It means giving every child access to culture and the simple joys of childhood. It means equality - and that every child feels that they belong. And it is also about healing on a small scale: many refugee children carry difficult experiences within them - with dance and movement, we can give them moments of lightness, trust and connection. This is no substitute for coming to terms with the past, but it can help to relieve the burden of the experience for a moment - and open up space for joy and vitality.

That is why we are reaching out to our community.
