THE DANCE CAMP FAMILY

WE ARE THE "DANCE CAMP FAMILY"

THE DANCE CAMP is a family project. We are a family of enthusiasts who have decided to share and pass on their passion for dance for sport and health.

We are a young, multilingual team from Switzerland and France. All trainers are specialists in their field and have their own success stories to tell. Our camp team stands for community, diversity and passion. No matter where we come from or who we are, the most important thing is that we respect each other. And that's exactly what we do at our dance camp. We have also placed a focus on racism-critical teaching and are very consciously guiding all our leaders in the process of becoming more aware of children and young people as well as our environment.

WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL

Switzerland-wide and cultural exchange

THE DANCE CAMP brings together children from different language regions. Our multilingual leaders help to break down language barriers and promote friendships across the Röstigraben. Many children find it easier to access French or German lessons afterwards.

Dance lessons with an impact

Our experienced dance teachers teach more than just dance: self-confidence, social skills, musicality, coordination, creativity and body awareness are specifically encouraged - in a structured, pedagogically sound and sports science-based way.

Diversity and sensitization

All trainers have undergone ƒome collective training, in which topics such as sexism, racism and classism are covered. The aim is to create a non-discriminatory space that has a lasting effect on the children.

Sustainability

We pay attention to the environment and health: regional, seasonal, organic cuisine, no pet bottles and ethically sensible goodies. As camp providers, we exemplify responsibility - because no one is too small to make a difference.
