3 DAYS TO DIVE DEEP INTO HOUSE CULTURE
ABOUT THE CAMP
3 days of House, Heart & Community
Ready for a weekend that's more than just dance training? The ƒome House Intensive is a three-day, overnight camp for anyone who wants to feel, celebrate and deepen house dance. This Intensive is the perfect place for those who not only want to improve their dance technique, but also experience the power of community - a mix of technique, heart, sharing and pure vibing.
You can expect many hours of training, open floors, individual coaching, Q&As and time for real exchange. Together with Marie Kaae , you will immerse yourself in the world of house culture - with all its rhythms, history and energy. Technique, expression, flow, footwork and freestyle. Marie Kaae not only teaches new steps and variations, but also offers space for exchange, networking and personal transformation.
Whether you want to develop, connect or simply immerse yourself: this camp offers you space for all those who are looking for more in their art.
MARIE KAAE
Marie Kaae is a choreographer, dancer, curator and producer with extensive international experience and influence. Her work is connected to house culture and dance in many ways. Marie has worked in the entertainment industry and performance art as a dancer since childhood, but found a home in Paris in 2005 in the independent freestyle and battle culture, which is closely linked to the original house scene from New York City. She is known for winning House Dance Forever twice in Amsterdam and Japan (2015) and has spent many years pursuing performance, teaching, organizing and a cultural dance life around the world.
As a cultural activist and entrepreneur, Marie has co-founded several platforms, events and sessions including Tap Water Jam (Paris), Juste Debout Nordic (Copenhagen), Divercity (Copenhagen), Nordic Unity (2014-2017) and currently runs the club nights All We Need in Copenhagen together with her team of exceptional local DJs. In recent years, her activities have mainly revolved around choreographic work in the performing arts and she actively advocates for club and street dance genres to be more integrated into the official art world with proper funding and research opportunities. Since 2022, she has curated the official education program for professional dancers in Denmark. Her work often revolves around the relationship between music and dance and the modern expressions of rhythmic art forms connected to electronic music and soul. Marie is an experienced teacher of house and continues to educate the new generation in professional dance programs, in the independent scene and in her own intensive training course Wholy Shit, which integrates a holistic approach to practice.
