A Weekend of House, Groove & Real Connection

A 2.5-day immersive experience built around dance, culture, self-expression and connection.

This intensive with Mademoiselle Do is more than a dance training. It is an invitation to explore movement as a language, a tool for self-discovery and a way to connect with others. Through classes, discussions, shared moments and collective practice, we will dive into the foundations of House dance while exploring expression, musicality, groove and freestyle.

Expect deep training sessions, inspiring exchanges, good food, good music and a welcoming community. Together we will move, learn, listen and grow.

This weekend is not about perfection or performance. It is about presence, curiosity and authenticity. About understanding where the dance comes from, what it carries, and what it can awaken within us.

Mademoiselle Do

Mademoiselle Do believes that dance is beautiful, but also deeply meaningful.

Born in Côte d’Ivoire and of Congolese heritage, Dominique discovered dance in France, where a chance encounter with the House dance community in Lyon would change the course of her life. What started with hours of observation became a lifelong journey of learning, travelling, sharing and creating through movement.

Today, Dominique is an internationally recognised dancer, performer and educator, working with renowned companies including Paradox-Sal, founded by the late Ousmane Sy. Her dance language is rooted in House, enriched by African influences, personal experiences and years of exchange with dancers across Europe and beyond.

For Mademoiselle Do, dance is not only technique or aesthetics. It is a powerful vehicle for expression, identity and connection. Her teaching invites dancers to move beyond “doing it right” and towards finding their own voice through movement.

Known for her generosity, depth and commitment to culture, she creates spaces where dancers can challenge themselves, build confidence and reconnect with what makes dance meaningful.

Throughout the intensive, Dominique will guide participants through House foundations, groove, musicality, freestyle and cultural understanding, encouraging everyone to explore both the dance and themselves along the way.

LOCATION & ACCOMMODATION

The camp will take place in the sports center of Willisau. We will spend the night in the modern Bed & Sport in Willisau. There are 6 rooms available. The allocation of rooms (4 or 6 people) is random.

WHO IS THE HOUSE DANCE INTENSIVE AIMED AT?

This house camp is aimed at all dancers who already have experience with house dance and are ready to dive deeper into the technique, musicality and culture. Whether you're a regular practitioner or have just found your groove - if you're open to challenge, community and growth, this is the place for you.

The ƒome House Intensive offers you space to grow, connect with other house lovers and refine your own style in a respectful, empowering environment that thrives on vibes, exchange and real house energy.

The number of participants is limited to 35 to ensure that the coaches can respond to each student individually. This ensures that each individual is personally supported and can reach their full potential.
