3 days of House, groove & real connection

fome House Intensive. A weekend built around dance, music and community. Expect live DJ sessions, jams, lectures, good food, good music and inspiring classes with Wesley from France.

We train, we listen, we move, we share. House foundations, groove, footwork, flow and freestyle — all rooted in culture, cyphers and exchange. This intensive is not about perfection, it’s about feeling, presence and showing up fully.

YOUR MENTOR:

WESLEY

Wesley Guido Rommy ist Tänzer, Bewegungs­künstler, Coach und Dozent mit einer tiefen Verwurzelung in der House-Dance- und House-Music-Kultur. Mit über 15 Jahren Erfahrung ist er als vielseitiger Performer, Choreograf, Pädagoge und DJ international tätig und lebt in Rotterdam.

Er trat bei zahlreichen internationalen Events auf, unterrichtete, battelte und jurierte, darunter Juste Debout, Summerdance Forever, Color Your House (Taiwan), Step Number (Korea), Inside Out (Hong Kong), das North Sea Jazz Festival, Red Bull Dance Your Style und das Boom Festival. Neben seiner Arbeit als Tänzer ist Wesley auch als DJ aktiv und spielt an Clubnächten und Events wie Housejam XL, Tokonoma Clubnight, der Juste Debout Afterparty und The Kulture of Hype & Hope.

Als Pädagoge unterrichtete Wesley an Institutionen wie Codarts, Fontys und der Amsterdam University of the Arts. Sein Fokus liegt auf Bewegungsforschung, Freestyle-Praxis, körperlichem Training und Körperwahrnehmung. Er arbeitete intensiv mit dem Amenti Collective und der ISH Dance Collective zusammen, unter anderem als Assistenzchoreograf und Koordinator verschiedener Bildungs- und Kunstprojekte. Zudem choreografierte er House Decoded, ein Entwicklungsprojekt in Zusammenarbeit mit Vanildo Varela, das sich mit seinen Perspektiven und Erfahrungen innerhalb der House-Dance- und House-Music-Kultur auseinandersetzt.

Neben seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit ist Wesley Mitbegründer von Quality of Motion, einem Projekt, das sich dem physischen Training und der Erweiterung körperlicher Fähigkeiten widmet. Mit seiner eigenen Company Initial Formtrainierte und coachte er zahlreiche Tänzerinnen und Athletinnen in den Bereichen Kraft, Effizienz und nachhaltige körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit. Mit seinem starken Engagement für die Bewahrung der House-Kultur sowie die Verbindung von Tanz, Fitness und persönlicher Entwicklung inspiriert Wesley Menschen weltweit durch Unterricht, Performances und Mentoring.

YOUR DJ:

ALGO RYTM

Geboren in Brasilien, lebt Algo Rytm heute in der Schweiz. Seine Musik ist geprägt von seinen Wurzeln und der Hip-Hop-Tanzkultur, und er verbindet Deep & Afro House mit einem klaren Gespür für Rhythmus.

Als Gewinner des DJ Open Call spielte er beim DJ MAG’s Club Lab im Melkweg während der ADE 2025. In der Schweiz legt er in Clubs wie Klaus und Viertel auf und ist zudem für elegante Background-Sets bei Events wie seiner Globus-Residency bekannt.

Im Dezember 2025 erschien seine erste EP beim spanischen Label DeepClass Records, weitere Veröffentlichungen sind für Anfang 2026 geplant. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Zürcher Label neuton spielt er regelmäßig in renommierten Venues wie Hive oder bei Events wie Arosa Electronica.

LOCATION & ACCOMMODATION

The camp will take place in the sports center of Willisau. We will spend the night in the modern Bed & Sport in Willisau. There are 6 rooms available. The allocation of rooms (4 or 6 people) is random.

WHO IS THE HOUSE DANCE INTENSIVE AIMED AT?

This house camp is aimed at all dancers who already have experience with house dance and are ready to dive deeper into the technique, musicality and culture. Whether you're a regular practitioner or have just found your groove - if you're open to challenge, community and growth, this is the place for you.

The ƒome House Intensive offers you space to grow, connect with other house lovers and refine your own style in a respectful, empowering environment that thrives on vibes, exchange and real house energy.

The number of participants is limited to 35 to ensure that the coaches can respond to each student individually. This ensures that each individual is personally supported and can reach their full potential.
