ABOUT THE CAMP
120 Tänzer*innen, 20 engagierte Leiter*innen, Sommer, Musik und Tanz!
Unser neunjähriges Sommerlager mit Übernachtung bietet nicht nur die Möglichkeit, tänzerische Fähigkeiten zu erweitern, sondern auch die Geschichte und Kultur hinter den Tanzstilen zu verstehen. Dabei spielen zentrale Werte wie Peace, Love, Unity eine grosse Rolle – Werte, die tief in der Hip-Hop-Kultur verwurzelt sind.
In our camp, we not only teach dance technique, but also respect for the pioneers of this culture who paved the way for us. It is important to us that the participants recognize the deeper roots of the various dance cultures and integrate the values of these cultures into their own dance creations.
The camp promotes multicultural integration: children and young people aged between 9 and 20 from different language regions come together to overcome language barriers and make friends through dance and music. The values of peace, love and unity take center stage. Our voluntary camp battle and the traditional final show on Friday evening show how dance unites people and how strong the community becomes through these universal principles.
Our multilingual leaders support the participants in expressing themselves freely and feeling comfortable in this respectful and connecting atmosphere.

The youth sports camp takes place at the sports center in Willisau.
ACCOMMODATION 1: The first 67 dancers spend the night in the modern Bed & Sport in Willisau.

Wie setzt sich der Teilnahmebeitrag zusammen?
Der Teilnahmebeitrag umfasst weit mehr als die 40 Tanzlektionen. Darin enthalten sind professionelle Trainer*innen aus der Schweiz und dem Ausland, Unterkunft, Verpflegung, ein abwechslungsreiches Programm sowie eine sichere und gute Betreuung der Kinder während des gesamten Events.
Uns ist wichtig, Kulturschaffende für ihre Arbeit fair und angemessen zu entlöhnen. Viele Jahre hat unser Team einen grossen Teil der Organisation ehrenamtlich getragen. Dieses Engagement bleibt ein wichtiger Teil unseres Events – gleichzeitig möchten wir professionelle Tanz- und Kulturschaffende respektvoll und fair bezahlen.
Auch die Kosten für Unterkunft, Verpflegung und Organisation sind in den letzten Jahren gestiegen. Zudem werden wir künftig zusätzliche Betreuungspersonen einsetzen müssen, um den wachsenden Bedürfnisse und Anliegen der Kinder gerecht werden zu können.
Wir kalkulieren unsere Beiträge sorgfältig und ohne Gewinnabsicht. Gleichzeitig ist es uns ein grosses Anliegen, dass kein Kind aus finanziellen Gründen auf die Teilnahme verzichten muss. Für Familien, für die der Beitrag eine Herausforderung darstellt, möchten wir deshalb weiterhin individuelle Lösungen ermöglichen.
So können wir gemeinsam ein hochwertiges, sicheres und faires Tanzevent gestalten – für ALLE Kinder genauso wie für die Menschen, die dieses Event möglich machen.

Der reguläre Teilnahmebeitrag deckt die Kosten für professionelle Trainer:innen, Unterkunft, Verpflegung und ein vielfältiges Programm, das dich körperlich und künstlerisch weiterbringen wird. Mit deinem Beitrag unterstützt du nicht nur deine eigene Entwicklung, sondern hilfst auch, das Event für alle Teilnehmer:innen möglich zu machen.
